Son William 200 acres West of the Ohio River where he lives. Fayette County is adjacent to Greenbrier County where Bayless settled. It is likely that Mason is a son of Lewis or an eldest son of Bayless. The sons of the other Frederick County brothers are accounted for and the children of Bayless are not known. More than 10,000 persons are referred to in the name index. The children of John and Mary, by his will, were Major, Nancy, Kitty, and Polly.
